Every year, the EFS organises the European Falabella inspection. During this inspection, the exterior and movement of your Falabella horse are examined. 1st, 2nd and 3th premiums are awarded, with a 1st premium being the best assessment. All Falabella horses are placed in order of quality. Championship inspections also take place.
At the annual inspection, Falabella horses aged three years and older can be admitted to the main studbook if they receive a positive assessment. If they receive at least two youth premiums and are admitted to the main studbook with a 1st premium, they are awarded the STAR predicate.
