In February 2022 we received an e-mail from VHL Genetics that the test for Dwarfism ACAN (P306) had been adjusted based on new scientific insight from 2018. It concerned an adaptation of the tests for ACAN D3 and ACAN D4. The new test has been applied since December 1st, 2021. Therefore, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the results of tests performed before December 1st, 2021, may incorrectly indicate that your Falabella is not a carrier of dwarfism. In that case, a new test is recommended. Please check the certificate with the test results for the date on which the test was performed. If you need more information, please contact the EFS-board.
